Michigan Jazz Festival schedule
The Michigan Jazz Festival announced its 2023 schedule, and it features a rich variety of performing groups from throughout the state, the majority of whom are making their first appearance at the event.
Among the many new performers this year are the Grand Rapids Jazz Orchestra, the Aston Neighborhood Pleasure Club, Jonathan Blanchette’s Time-Jump, the Detroit Office of Civil Defense, the Andrew Rathbun Quartet, Sky Covington, Matthew Fries, and Kimmie Horne. Regular favorites like Bill Meyer, Terry Lower and Dave Bennett will return as well. The full schedule is available at the Festival’s website
The 28th annual Michigan Jazz Festival, Sunday, July 16 on the Livonia campus of Schoolcraft College, features 35 performances on six simultaneous stages. Admission is free.
