SEMJA provides southeastern Michigan's most timely and comprehensive calendar of regional jazz events. Our calendar is included in the printed version of SEMJA UPDATE. UPDATE is mailed monthly to SEMJA's membership of jazz aficionados and is distributed at local jazz venues. In addition, SEMJA maintains its calendar online — it is an increasingly popular source of information for all jazz enthusiasts.

Submissions accepted by SEMJA are limited to:
  • jazz, and
  • performances in Southeast Michigan

SEMJA will also consider performances elsewhere in Michigan, as well as those in Northwestern Ohio and Southern Ontario.
