Michigan Jazz Festival 2014

The free Michigan Jazz Festival is still going strong in its 20th year. The festival features great music in a very comfortable and friendly environment and you have a choice of listening inside or outside. This year’s festival will be held on Sunday, July 20, at Schoolcraft College from noon until 9:00 p.m. There will be music on six stages inside buildings or under a tent on the lawn, performed by 27 groups and 5 big bands, for a total of around 150 musicians. Schoolcraft College features high quality food services, and plenty of opportunities for socializing. SEMJA will have a table outside the Steinway Solo Piano Room as usual, so please drop by and say hello.
