Edgefest 2024
This year’s 28th annual Edgefest takes place over four days starting on October 16 and draws on talent from the whole world; many groups are truly cosmopolitan often based in New York City. Take drummer/composer Tomas Fujiwara, who was born and raised in Boston and moved to the Big Apple at the age of 17 to perform with bands of his like Triple Double, the Hook Up, and his own trio. At this year’s Festival he will play with his 7 Poet Trio with cellist Tomeka Reid and vibraphonist Patricia Brennan.
