Fred Lonberg-Holm was the cellist with Jorrit Dijkstra’s Flatlands Collective at Kerrytown Concert House on December 9. The cello was the central point in a unique ensemble soundscape that also included alto, clarinet, and trombone. The group was to record a week later and they sounded ready for it.
