Wendell Harrison was celebrated at the Detroit Institute of Arts on August 27. He was awarded as the Kresge Foundation Eminent Artist for 2018 for his work as a musician, composer, producer, and publicist. For the occasion he treated us to a saxophone and clarinet concert with his wife and pianist Pamela Wise.
