Around Town

On December 7 the Ron Brooks Quartet performed at WEMU’s 501 series at Babs Underground in downtown Ann Arbor. The group included tenorist Janelle Reichman, pianist Alexis Lombre, and drummer Eliza Salem (a University of Michigan student). They swung some standards and, of course, a few Christmas selections, and were greatly appreciated by the packed basement bar.
